Michael Mauri

Michael Mauri is a professional fly fisher and fish management technician based in Germany.

Michael started fishing at the age of six and by age of twelve decided to pursue a career in fly fishing. Michael was inspired by the skills of casters like Sepp Prager, Left Kreh and Steve Rajeff.  Since 1998, he has been participating in International shows and conducting single and doublehanded casting clinics around the world.  As a professional fly fisher he has also guided anglers throughout Europe.  Motion sequences acquired from many years of martial arts training as well as his desire to create an energy-efficient style of casting has resulted in his Effective Fly Casting Technique (EFCT).
