Gary Scott

Gary has specialised in the use of the salmon double handed rod and through his involvement with other casters like Peter Anderson, Ian Gordon, Eoin Fairgrieve, Bill Drury and Scott Mackenzie his distance casting skills have developed to the point where he is now considered one of the best in the world. He won his first distance casting event at The Chatsworth Game Fair. Since that first win Gary has continued to rank high in all the competitions he has entered and in 2006 the five man Scottish team of Ian Gordon, Eoin Fairgrieve, Bill Drury, Scott Mackenzie and Gary were crowned world champions at the World Emerald Masters in Ireland with over thirty countries competing. It has been Gary's willingness and enthusiasm to learn that has allowed him to develop his skills, skills that he is now well placed to pass on to others.
