This year's Trout and Salmon Tweed Angling Fair will be held on the 1st & 2nd May 2010 next to the world Famous Junction Pool on the River Tweed in Scotland. This is the 5th year of this very popular show. Amongst the experts participating in the event are Hywel Morgan, Scott MacKenzie, Michael Marui from Germany, Thomas Berggren and Michael Frodin from Sweden. The event is over two days and attractions include Fly Casting and Fly Dressing Competitions, The River Tweed Environmental Zone and a large retail village.

Angling Village:
This year’s Angling Village will feature the UK’s leading manufacturers and retailers showcasing the latest products for 2010. Try before you buy all the newest tackle for this coming season.

A.A.P.G.A.I Casting Clinic:
Improve your casting techniques with instruction from the UK’s top qualified fly casting instructors including Gary Coxon, Gary Champion, Glyn Freeman and Clive Mitchelhill.

Casting Competitions:
Casting competitions on both days of the event. Categories include:
Children’s Trout Distance, Children’s Salmon Distance, Adult Trout Distance, Adult Salmon Distance. Major prizes.

Lecture Theatre:
A full program of fly tying demonstrations and lectures by leading anglers.

Children’s Have-a-Go Fly Fishing Area:
Free Children’s fly casting instruction with A.A.P.G.A.I Casting Instructors.

River Tweed Environmental Zone:
Environmental organisations from the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland offering interactive activities for all the family.
